Elsewhere I read: "Well, I have done many treks around NSW but I don't think anything can beat what I did on the weekend, my mate picked me up Friday night we headed up to Gloucester on directions given to me by a NPWS rep.(Hint-Don't take any directions from a NPWS over the phone). Anyway we drove along the Bucketts way then straight through Gloucesters main street and took a left at the Roundabout....." By the way...it should be: ."and there in the middle of nowhere WERE two caravans and an AWESOME site for camping,,"........ Now, what should it be? It is unfortunate that the school photographers only started having us add names to the photos only a year or two later, than 1985. I looked at the class photo (The year that I tried a beard.) but have to admit. I could not remember you. After all. More than 1000 kids between 1964 and 2002. So many faces to remember. Jo |

hoi hoi daar aan de anderkant van de wereld ik las je bericht in ons gastenboek ik ben dj van de vliegdehollander en ik draai bijna ieder nacht nonstop maar nu ik weet dat u naar ons luister zal ik zekker mijn ztem laaten hooren maar ps als u zegt tegen mijn waarneer jullie savonds luistre ga ik overdag een paar uur zenden om daar aan de anderkant de kaaskoppen een plezier te doen en ik had ad van hoorn aan de telfoon en moetsu daar de groeten van doen en van uit holland een dikke kus en knuffel en leuk dat u naar ons luistre groet ina vdbrink dj van de vliegde en zal zekker voor u eeen plaat draaijen kom daar mijn bed wel voor uit |

Hallo Joop,
allereerst bedankt voor het schrijven in mijn gastenboek, heb ook jouw site even bezocht,komen weer allerlei dingen van vroeger naar boven als ik het zo bekijk,dingen uit het verleden. Als ik ook zie de Johan van Oldenbarneveld, waar je destijds mee naar je nieuwe vaderland vertrok, was heel andere tijd toen.

On 1st January 1970, Frits Dehaan, a student at Sydney Uni introduced me to his mother Anky Dehaan in Glenbrook in the Blue Mountains.I got to know the family, and guess many people knew or know Anky. They came to NSW and settled in Wollongong in the 50's Anky lived to share and help people grow spiritually. She assisted me greatly.
In occupied Holland her family helped jews escape. After the war she used her ESP to help police but gave that up concerned she might make a mistake. All this is from memory and I am not immune from false memory syndrome - but the main picture is true. in late 52, a few hours before the big flood in Holland, she was taken home from a film theatre very disturbed. She was 'feeling' the flood before it manifested. On 23, 24 December 2004. I was feeling something and tried to alert some people. I failed, because it is very difficult to know exactly what you are feeling. On the 26th. the wave hit Asia. I am researching on this and it would be very useful to verify Anky Dehaan's experiences. On the 23r December. I e-mailed people and quoted her story from 1952. It is possibble on occaisions to avert disasters. I have done this on a small level and know that dreamers can help the world on bigger things too. Any help on this from Australia or Holland would be appreciated
Correction. The flood was on night of 31 January 1953. As a seven year old in Shoeburyness Essex I saw the flooded fields the next morning. People died in our village. Checking on the net, it says 307 died in England but 1835 in Holland. Anky and her architect husband moved from Glenbrook and in 1978 they were in Barington Tops ( again from memory). Frits had changed his name from Dehaan to Dehan. An elder brother was head of a school in Port Moresby, and a younger sister Ingrid was married with one child by 1971.Today with my Brasilian wife, we are trying to start up a permaculture project on our small farm. We have a LETS exchange system operating. Brasil is a very unequal society, and we are thought to be rich people by many poorer locals. TV here encourages people to escape into fantasyThere is little desire to work on the land, but a great desire to take what can be got.On the positive side people are very relaxed, creative in sport and music. We have a wonderful climate.My wife taught school and was a teacher trainer in Sao Paulo. Hoi Joop Helemaal te gek die site van u, wij willen eind 2005 emigreren naar Aussie en wij hebben op de site van u ons hart kunnen ophalen.Ik heb de site in mijn favorieten gezet en zal steeds weer even gaan kijken. Wij kunnen niet wachten tot het voor ons ook zo ver is om die kant op te komen.Mijn man is er geboren maar was heeeeel klein toen hij naar Nederland kwam.Misschien kent u wel zijn vader die is lid van de Lions club zijn naam is Bram Eerdhuijzen.En die woont nog steeds in Brisbane.Wij willen graag naar Adelaide.
